AutoPay Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These AutoPay Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the AutoPay facility offered by the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) to its members for payment of Annual Fees.

When you enrol in AutoPay, you are choosing to automatically renew your membership with RACDS each financial year. Automatic renewal saves you time and ensures that your membership will never lapse.

Please review the T&C carefully before opting into AutoPay. By enrolling in AutoPay, you agree to the following T&C.

1. Payment Information

You are responsible for providing current and complete payment information at the time of enrolment in AutoPay. You confirm that you are the authorised account holder or have the authority to use the nominated payment method. You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available.

RACDS will contact you if there are issues and matters relating to your payment (e.g. failed payment attempts, nominated card is expiring, etc.).

2. Payment Authorisation

By enrolling in AutoPay, you authorise RACDS to charge the payment method you have provided for your Annual Fees.

RACDS reserves the right to adjust fees in accordance with its membership policies. You will be notified in advance of any fee changes.

You acknowledge that payments will be processed automatically based on the payment frequency selected (monthly or annually).

3. Automated Renewal

Your membership will renew automatically on the yearly renewal date, and the annual/monthly renewal payment/s will be processed through the AutoPay system.

RACDS will notify you of the upcoming yearly renewal via email. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact information is up to date and to regularly check communications from RACDS via email.

4. Failed or Missed Payments

If a payment fails, RACDS will attempt to reprocess the payment.

RACDS may suspend or revoke membership benefits until outstanding amounts are settled.

Continued failure to make payments may result in termination of membership.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your AutoPay enrolment at any time by contacting RACDS for assistance. Cancellations must be made at least five (5) days prior to the next scheduled payment to avoid being charged.

Cancelling your AutoPay arrangement does not necessarily cancel your membership unless separately requested.

If AutoPay is cancelled while any portion of the Annual Fee renewal payment remains outstanding, you will continue to be liable for the remaining balance.

6. Refunds

Annual Fee payments are non-refundable, except in cases of billing errors. Payment adjustments due to billing errors will be processed back to the original payment method, where possible.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, RACDS is not liable for any loss resulting from failed or delayed transactions due to circumstances beyond its control, including any bank fees or charges incurred by you.

8. Amendment to Terms and Conditions

RACDS reserves the right to amend these T&C at any time. Continued use of AutoPay constitutes acceptance of the updated T&C.
