The award of Life Fellowship is the highest level of recognition that the College can bestow. It is awarded to a Fellow or Member who has demonstrated an exceptional contribution of service to the College.

Meritorious Service Award
The Meritorious Service Award is awarded to individuals who have rendered long and distinguished service to the College. Recipients do not need to be members of the College. Both dentists and non-dentists are eligible.

College Service Award
The College Service Award may be conferred on individuals who in the opinion of the Board have rendered significant service to the College. Recipients do not need to be members of the College. Both dentists and non-dentists are eligible.

Honorary Fellowship (from 2020)
The award of Honorary Fellowship may be conferred on distinguished persons (non-members of the College) who in the opinion of the Board have made an outstanding or exceptional contribution to the advancement of the science and practice of dentistry, or the dental profession over an extended period.
Fellowship or Membership without Examination
The Awards of Fellowship or Membership without Examination may be conferred on an individual who in the opinion of the Board, are deemed to have qualifications and experience comparable to a Fellow / Member of the College. Only two (2) dentists per financial year in each of general and specialist dental practice respectively may be admitted. Recipients may use the postnominal FRACDS or MRACDS in accordance with By-law 3.
