Overview: 
The Diagnosis and Treatment Planning CPD Masterclass emphasises the philosophy of total oral healthcare for patients. Candidates are challenged to consider not only the diagnostic tools they use every day and why they use them but their decision-making process and how that is communicated to patients and other healthcare professionals. 

Learning Outcomes: 
The ability to perform appropriate investigative examination procedures and special investigations and integrate these findings into a structured and prioritised treatment plan with multiple options presented which consider patient centered care.

  • Prof John Boucher AM

    BDSc LDS FRACDS FICD FPFA GAICD

    Prof John Boucher graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1978 as First in Graduating Class with First Class Honours. Prof Boucher has had a career long involvement in dental education and assessment, having completed over 40 years teaching and examining at the Melbourne Dental School, University of Melbourne. Prof Boucher is a Past President of the Dental Practice Board of Victoria and the Victorian Committee of the Dental Board of Australia. Prof Boucher is a Past President of the Australian Dental Council having been an examiner for the past 28 years. Prof Boucher is a practising general dentist and an examiner for RACDS. In June 2019 Prof Boucher was recognised with the award of a Member of the Order of Australia.
