Dr. Tran received his Bachelor from The University of London and Licentiate in Dental Surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1991. He completed his Master in Orthodontics from The University of Hong Kong and attained his Membership in Orthodontics from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh at 1999. He completed his Advanced Diploma in Orthodontics and was awarded the Fellowship of The College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong and The Academy of Medicine of Hong Kong at 2001. Dr. Tran was a fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists since 2000 and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists since 2005. He was appointed the Consultant Orthodontist at Shatin International Medical Centre, Union Hospital Since 2002. He is also an executive committee member of Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society since 2018. He is a trainer of The Specialty Board in Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong. He is the President of the Hong Kong Society of Orthodontists since 2020. He is also The Hong Kong University Specialty Centre Supervisor from 2025. Dr. Tran had decades of in-depth clinical experience in the full spectrum of dental services in both private and hospital services. His interests and specialties in orthodontics included management of interceptive orthodontics, functional appliance therapy, and management of complicated adult and children cases, especially those with multidisciplinary cases. He has treated a large number of orthodontic cases with Clear Aligners in both adults and children. Dr. Tran had publications related to mouth guards in Journal of Dental Material Science, International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry, Dental Traumatology, Journal of Endodontic and Dental Traumatology as well as Dental Asia and the Millenium Journal.

Dr. Ho is a Specialist in Endodontics. He obtained his dental degree from the University of Hong Kong in 1992 and completed his Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry in 1996. In 2008, Dr. Ho was awarded Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Endodontics) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the same institution in 2022. Additionally, he attained Membership in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Endodontics) in 2010. Dr. Ho has been a Fellow of both the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and The College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong (Specialty of Endodontics) since 2011. Dr. Ho is currently engaged in private practice. With a strong passion for teaching, Dr. Ho serves as a Part-time Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong, where he mentors undergraduate and Master’s students, particularly in the field of endodontics. From 2011 to 2022, he also contributed to postgraduate training as a trainer in the Specialty of Family Dentistry. Beyond his clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Ho has been actively involved with the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong. He served as a Council Member from 2016 to 2024 and held the position of Vice President during the 2023–2024 term. He currently contributes as an Education Facilitator for the Dental College.

Prof. Pow is the Chief of the Division of Restorative Dental Sciences as well as the Postgraduate Programme Director and Clinical Associate Professor in Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong. As a registered specialist in Prosthodontics, Dr. Pow has actively worked in various aspects of clinical prosthodontics and implant dentistry for over 30 years. Prof. Pow has published over 130 scientific and clinical articles. In 2015, he received the Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award (Dental Technique Category) from the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. In 2024 and 2025, he was recognized as one of the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University. He currently serves on the editorial boards of Clinical Oral Implants Research, Journal of Prosthodontics, International Journal of Prosthodontics, and International Dental Journal. Prof. Pow holds leadership positions in various dental organizations. He served as the President of the Prosthodontics Group of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), President of the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong (CDSHK), Chair of the Specialty Board in Prosthodontics of CDSHK, Chair of the Asia Regional Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and President of Hong Kong Prosthetic Dentistry Society.

Dr. Barbara Woodhouse graduated in dentistry from the University of Queensland in 1978 and worked for Queensland Health and in private practice – both in rural Queensland and in Brisbane – before deciding to specialise in oral and maxillofacial surgery. After completing a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, she completed her master degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery in combination with a four-year surgical training program at The University of Queensland and started teaching at The Royal Brisbane Hospital. To broaden her experience, Dr. Woodhouse completed her final year in a world class training facility in the United Kingdom and was admitted to Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She was awarded a traveling Fellowship to Europe in recognition of the work she undertook in England. On her return to Australia, Dr. Woodhouse commenced private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. At the same time, she completed a medical degree through the University of Queensland and was awarded a specialist Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She was appointed as the consultant at the Royal Brisbane Hospital from 1994 to 2009, where she pioneered several Australia-first techniques. She has also served as Lieutenant Colonel Consultant to the Australian Army. She also served on the national board of examiners for doctors applying for specialist registration in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is a frequently invited speaker to medical and dental groups both in Australia and overseas. Dr. Barbara Woodhouse is the chair of Operation Interface (an NGO affiliated with the International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons) which supervises the supply of surgical expertise to Bangladesh, Cambodia Fiji, Tonga, PNG, Vietnam and Vanuatu and initiates and supports training programs for local surgeons in these areas Dr. Woodhouse practices all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery but has a special interest in the correction of facial deformities.
