Speaker

  • Associate Professor Mas Suryalis Ahmad

    PhD (Melbourne); DClinDent Special Needs Dentistry (Melbourne); BDS (Malaya); SCTGR (Melbourne); MRACDS (SND)

    Associate Professor Ahmad graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya in 2006, followed by Doctor of Clinical Dentistry as well as Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Melbourne in 2016. Dr Mas is the President-Elect of the Malaysian Dental Association, Chair of Pierre Fauchard Academy (Malaysian Section), Education Council Member of the International Association for Disability and Oral Health as well as Member of the International Regional Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She has been invited to speak on Special Care Dentistry, Gerodontology and Dental Education and has also published numerous articles and won several international awards for research and innovation. Dr Mas is currently the Deputy Dean, Student Affairs, and teaches Special Care Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Teknologi MARA.
